FujiNet for RS-232 adds Wi-Fi networking, MicroSD support, virtual disk support, printer emulation, modem emulation, NTP time sync, and more to your MS-DOS (PC-Compatible) computer*.

This device is currently intended for use with IBM-compatible computers that have RS-232 serial ports.

We are currently shipping firmware version 1.6.0 with hardware version 1b, which includes a push-push Micro SD card reader.

  • MS-DOS PC compatible computer* with built in serial support (USB to serial adapters are not currently supported)
  • USB-C 5V power source (1A or higher recommended)
  • FAT32 formatted SD card (Not mandatory unless you have a PC Jr., but still recommended)
  • Method to copy FUJINET.SYS driver onto local floppy drive or hard drive

*FujiNet RS232 currently supports MS-DOS (PC Compatible) systems over a serial port. Support for other serial devices will likely come in the future.

Development note:

If you want to use or develop FujiNet applications for MS-DOS, and you don’t have a FujiNet (yet), you can connect a copy of FujiNet-PC to an emulator, such as QEMU or 86Box via a pseudo-TTY (pty) in Linux. For a wiki containing details, click here.
