Learn to solder or increase your skills with “The Randomizer” learn to solder kit.
The Randomizer is a learn-to-solder kit that uses a 555 timer and 4017 counter to create a fast-spinning LED wheel that stops on a randomly selected light. The circuit is triggered by push button and/or motion sensor.
This kit requires a CR2032 lithium battery, which you can add to your order. (US ground shipping only)
Note: This kit comes with clothes pins, which serve as the circuit board holder for small projects. Therefore no separate helping hands or circuit board holders are needed. However, You will need a soldering iron, solder, and wire cutters.
This kit will be used for the Supercharged Science soldering class on January 28, 2026 at 9AM Pacific. Kits can be ordered at any time but may not arrive in time for class on January 28, 2026. A recording of the class will be provided.
